Age divisions
8U GIRLS | Birth Year 2017 or younger
10U GIRLS | Birth Year 2015 or younger
12U GIRLS | Birth Year 2013 or younger
14U GIRLS | Birth Year 2011 or younger
HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS | Must be enrolled in the 2024/2025 school year
tryout jUNE 14th OR JULY 19th 2025
Tryouts for our Girls Travel Flag Football Team will be held from JUNE 14th & july 19th 2025. During the tryout process, athletes will be evaluated based on their skills, athleticism, teamwork, and commitment to the sport.
Important Details:
- Location: The tryout location will be announced one week before the tryout date
- Selection: Our coaching staff will assess players’ individual skills, teamwork, and overall athleticism.
practice & development
We practice two days per week, providing ample time for players to hone their abilities in a structured environment.
Practice Details:
- Practices will be held in Oceanside or Garden City, ensuring convenient access for all players.
- During the FALL/WINTER season, our practices are typically scheduled for Monday – THURSDAY. (Unconfirmed)
TRAVEL tournaments
Our team will compete in approximately 12 tournaments from February through August, primarily in the Northeast region. These tournaments provide the perfect opportunity for our athletes to showcase their skills and compete against some of the best players in the country. Most tournaments will be held in the Northeast, but we may travel further for premier events.
ATHLETE commitment
We believe that commitment and consistency are key to success. As part of the Long Island Venom, athletes are expected to:
- Attend both weekly practices and be fully engaged in the development process.
- Participate in all tournaments throughout the season, with a strong commitment to the team’s goals.
